It so happened that we have long wanted to create a "moving text" for our Instagram but never really got to do it, when one of our old clients asked us to show what kinetic typography would look like in advertising (sometimes we call it a "selling letter").
A "moving text” creates an impression that a newspaper or a magazine becomes alive in your hands – words begin to move, change color, grow or form bizarre shapes, as they convey something very important to the reader. The message is enhanced even deeper by the emotional reading, accentuating pivotal points. Viewers enjoy the entire message unaware of the methods that we used to create it.
Kinetic typography is used not only in advertising but also in movies (e.g. the scene in the Breaking Bad series) and music videos. Take, for example, Doom and Gloom music video by The Rolling Stones.
